Yoga classes

Although I have been practicing yoga for 25 years it took me over 10 years to finally feel brave enough to go to a public class, so I really do understand how it feels to step onto the mat for the first time.

In all my offerings as a massage therapist and yoga teacher, my heart lies in exploring the uniqueness of every individual, so I specialise in the slower and more mindful styles of yoga. I have a passion for finding that magical place where the nervous system is restful enough to allow the body to heal.

My mission is to challenge the busyness of modern life by nurturing the nervous system and inviting people to find stillness among the chaos.

Slow Flow

Shine Yoga, Belper

Tuesdays 6pm - 7pm (to book visit: BOOK A CLASS - Shine With Tabitha Yoga (tabitha-yoga.co.uk))

Slow Flow is a slow and mindful yoga class. I invite you to explore the range of your own body and move with your own intuition. Everyone is welcome and there are no expectations to do anything or to be anything other than yourself. Each of us is different and we all feel different on any given day so I will provide plenty of options for you to make the class your own.

I will guide you through some gentle warm up stretches before moving onto a standing flow sequence with plenty of opportunity to challenge yourself or to take a rest as needed. I will then guide you through some seated stretches and a beautiful shavasana meditation.

The aim of Slow Flow is to increase mobility, range of motion and physical and mental wellbeing.

Great for beginners, advanced and everyone in between.
